Mahindra’s upcoming launch

When we talk about utility vehicles, the first name that flashes in our minds would indeed be the domestic company Mahindra and Mahindra. Their SUVs are known for their rugged build, terrain friendly nature and reliability. However, the one Mahindra SUV that did not get much popularity among the masses would be the Quanto, released in the Indian markets in September 2012. Mahindra has now given this sub-four metre SUV a design overhaul and also has renamed it with a very sporty name – the Nuvosport. The facelifted SUV is expected to be launched on the 4th of April. Expected Price

Nuvosport is entering in at a time when the market is already seeing a good rush of SUVs at competitive prices. Therefore it is not going to be easy for the new car to rise over other popular SUVs around like the Ford Ecosport or the latest Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza or even Mahindra’s own TUV300. The company will have to ensure competitive pricing and also will have to take care that there is no major overlap in the prices. Although the prices have not been announced officially, the Nuvosport is expected to fall in a price range of Rs 5.9 to Rs 8.5 lakhs. Mahindra NuvoSport is targeted towards young buyers who lead an active outdoor lifestyle. Also Check About Mahindra NuvoSport Price in India, Specs, Photos, Mileage Visit on

Looks and Features

Nuvosport is a seven-seater with two jump seats at the rear. There are thin strips of LED daytime running lights over the large trapezoidal headlights and the fog lights and turn indicators also look unique. Inside, it looks very much like the Quanto in a beige and black set-up. In addition to the standard features, there would be a 2-Din music system with a touch screen infotainment system, cruise control and eight-way adjustable leather seats with lumbar support.
